I came to Dale with a simple tone shaping idea to "boost" my already great '64 Bassman. He built this amazing unit for me and I couldnt be happier! This '59 pre-amp showcases every characteristic any given tube may have, while also being able to push them to their absolute limits. I've gone through many overdrive and distortion style pedals and all they do is try to emulate real tube tones. I enjoy pushing my amps hard for their true "gain". What Dale has done here has set my amps just over the edge and beyond where my ear has been trying to lead me. Thanks a million Dale!
